Низкий уровень витамина D в сыворотке крови связан с нарушением функции легких, ростом воспалительных, инфекционных или неопластических заболеваний. Результаты ряда исследований позволяют считать витамин D не только маркером разного течения бронхолегочных заболеваний, но и терапевтической мишенью при лечении больных хронической обструктивной болезнью легких при поддержании иммунной системы и противоинфекционной защиты.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review presents data from 56 publications about functions of vitamin D in the human body, the mechanisms of its action and the relationship between lung diseases and the level of vitamin D in the blood. Low serum vitamin D levels are associated with impaired lung function and an increase in inflammatory, infectious, or neoplastic diseases.
