<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review analyzed 56 publications in order to investigate the possibility of using flavonoids as concomitant therapy in the long-term treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) and to determine the relevance of such studies. Publications were selected from main databases including RSCI, PubMed, and Google Scholar. The use of bioflavonoids in tuberculosis chemotherapy can enhance its effectiveness and prevent toxic effects of anti-tuberculosis drugs.
