Рассмотрены проблемы поглощения железа микобактериями туберкулеза, его сохранения и регуляции метаболизма у них. Углубление и детализация описываемых процессов откроют новые возможности для терапевтического вмешательства в них и помогут разработать новые методы лечения туберкулеза.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review analyzes the major foreign publications on the iron exchange in mycobacteria for the recent years. The issues of iron absorption by tuberculous mycobacteria, its preservation and regulation of their metabolism have been reviewed.
